St. Paul's Music Programs
When in
our music God is glorified, And adoration leaves no room for pride,
It is as though the whole creation cried Alleluia! -F. Pratt Green
(b. 1903) From The Hymnal 1982

Music permeates virtually every aspect of the life of St. Pauls, from the liturgy to the concerts
provided by the choir and the St. Paul's Quartet throughout the year. As Episcopalians, we have a musical heritage that is
rich and deeply spiritual. For 1,400 years Anglican church music has evolved as an extremely diverse and multilayered art
that celebrates and encompasses many different traditions.
The Music Program at St. Pauls is under the direction of Charles A. Rigsby, Organist and Choirmaster and Linda
Kelly, Associate Organist and Choirmaster. St. Paul's Church has a rich musical heritage. All are welcome to sing
in a choir and/or ring hand bells. Please contact Charlie Rigsby or Linda Kelly for more information: 442-7373 or by email,
cr273@aol.com. Charlie is also the director of the Arkansas Interfaith Music Camp offered each year at Subiaco Abbey in Central
Arkansas.

Our prime and privileged task is to worship the God who made us, and to proclaim Jesus as the
Savior and Hope of the world. The mission of the music is to aid the congregation in worship, through hymns, liturgical services,
music, choral anthems, ensembles, solos, and hand bells. The choir is the heartbeat of our music ministry. The choir members
volunteer and provide devoted leadership in all areas of our worship.
