The Community Clinic at St. Francis House
is a benevolent health care ministry founded by the Episcopal Church. It is a non-profit corporation that offers affordable
medical and dental care to those who have limited access to the health care system. The Clinic became a Federally Qualified
Health Center in December, 2004. A professional staff of dentists, nurse practitioners, doctors and volunteer doctors and
nurses work hard to close some of the gaps where people in our community may fall through. It is open five days a week, 8:00
to 5:00 and two Thursday evenings a month and is located in the Jones Family Resource Center in Springdale, Arkansas.
Services
A sliding fee scale and flexible payment schedules are available for services
offered based on family size and income. Medicaid, ARKids 1st and all 3rd party insurance plans are accepted.
Medical Clinic
General
medical services for children and adults provided by nurse practitioners supervised by a Medical Director. Prenatal care by
referral is offered by Prenatal Pathways. Appointments for all services are made Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.
Prescription Assistance
Prescriptions
are provided at a reduced price for patients of the Community Clinic. Indigent Pharmacy Programs are offered by pharmaceutical
companies to provide free medicines to qualified patients treating chronic conditions.
Dental
Clinic
General dental services, primarily for children are provided.
Patients with Medicaid and ARKids 1st insurance and uninsured patients are accepted. Limited adult care is available. Appointments
are made Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hearing
Clinic
Appointments are coordinated with volunteer specialists.
