New Year’s Day

New Year’s Day is often a time for resolutions, when we will change something that bothers us. In Psalm 103, we are reminded “He forgives all your sins / and heals all your infirmities.” It goes on “The Lord is full of compassion and mercy, / slow to anger and of great kindness.” With that much love and devotion, the resolutions to lose weight, manage our money, quit “whatever” seem so small in comparison.

Just sit with this Psalm and consider the possibilities of what you could accomplish in God’s love. You can expand your life in ways never imagined.
