Mozart Mass

The St. Paul Choir & Chamber Orchestra presents our final masterwork of the choral season.

On Trinity Sunday, June 12, at the 11:00 service, the choir will sing Mozart's Missa in honorem Sanctissimae Trinitatis K.167. This is Mozart's only mass bearing a dedication in its title and the only one written for chorus and orchestra without vocal soloists.

A masterwork of Mozart's early years, this Mass, though we do not know the occasion for which the mass was written, was undoubtedly related to the dedication. Join us for this special Mass setting sung in the context for which it was written.
