Acolyte Training

Following the 11:00 service, in the church

On Sunday, October 17, there will be an acolyte training in the church following the 11 o’clock service. Youth (12 and up) and adults who are interested in serving as an acolyte are invited to attend.

Acolytes carry the cross, torches, and gospel book in procession and assist the clergy with the service.

We typically schedule acolytes three months in advance, and a person usually serves about once a month. We do ask that anyone who serves as an acolyte is vaccinated.
