The Acts of the Apostles: Bible & Book Study

THE RECTOR’S BIBLE STUDY

Mondays at 10 a.m.
Library, with online option

Starting April, The Rector's Bible Study explores a series on the Acts of the Apostles with a supplementary text.

The Acts of the Apostles is the story of God’s work in and through the lives of the first generation of Jesus’ followers. In his commentary on Acts, Willie James Jennings challenges the way the church has understood this book for generations. This series will explore the first few chapters of Acts, pairing scriptural readings with readings from Jennings’ commentary. Participants may want to purchase the commentary for their own study, but it is not required for the class.
