Esther

THE RECTOR’S BIBLE STUDY

The Rector's Bible Study explores the Book of Esther in ten parts.

A simple story with layers of meaning, the Book of Esther tells the tale of two Jews living in Persia. Esther becomes the queen, and Mordecai becomes the enemy of the king's principal advisor. As the story unfolds, we read how secret plots overlap and intersect, producing biblical irony. Ultimately, the story of Esther is a story of courage and triumph for God's people.

The Rector's Bible Study meets Mondays at 10 a.m. in the Library. All are welcome to attend.
