Theology on Tap starts new book

Tuesday, February 7, 2023
6:00 - 8:00 pm
Mermaids on College Ave.

Theology on Tap will begin discussing a new book, Listening for the Heartbeat of God: A Celtic Spirituality by J. Philip Newell.

Newell traces the heritage of Celtic Spirituality from 4th century Britain to the contemporary Iona community, rooted in the mysticism of the New Testament. There has been a renewal of interest in Celtic Spirituality because of its deep appreciation for creation and the presence of the divine in the created order.

We'll read this book in two sections, chapters 1-3 for our February 7 conversation and chapters 3-6 for the March 7 gathering. Evan will lead both sessions at Mermaids, as Lowell is out of town.

Our new location is a small room at Mermaids on College Ave. Please RSVP by Friday, February 3, with Lowell Grisham or email info@stpaulsfay.org and we can help connect you.

Copies of the book are available in St. Paul’s bookstore.
