Honor the Legacy of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 2021

You are invited to join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 18. Not only is he a national hero but a saint of the church who sets an example for us in how to lead a life centered on Christ, striving for justice and peace.

Community Service Projects

We have two community projects currently available for pick-up from the narthex (enter the main church doors on East Ave. on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.).

Support the ministry of the Prison Story Project by writing a birthday card for a man living on Arkansas Death Row and write three postcards to share your commitment to working towards building the Beloved Community. Further instructions for both projects are included with materials.

Community Reading

In the evening, join us online at 6:00 p.m. for a community reading of the Letter from a Birmingham Jail. Participants will be invited to read aloud, mark, and inwardly digest the words of this important letter.
