Our Next Associate Rector

Dear St. Paul’s:

I am delighted to share the news that the Rev. Sara Milford has accepted a call to serve as our next Associate Rector. Sara is currently the Vicar of All Saints’ in Bentonville and is known to many of us from her time at St. Paul’s before she went to seminary. Sara will begin her ministry among us on February 1.

Sara has deep gifts for ministry as a pastor, preacher, teacher, advocate, and priest. Her leadership in this diocese and throughout The Episcopal Church will be an asset to our parish. She has a deep heart for love, and I could not be more excited that she will share that with us as a member of our clergy team.

This is an exciting transition for all of us, but anytime someone leaves a beloved parish it comes with some sadness. Please remember Sara and our siblings in Christ at All Saints’ in Bentonville as they say goodbye to this chapter in their shared ministry. Please keep Sara’s family, including Casey and their four children, in your prayers, too. And join me in looking forward to welcoming Sara to St. Paul's in February.

Yours faithfully,

Evan

A Message from Sara

Dear St. Paul’s,

With a full heart, I announce my acceptance to serve as Associate Rector at St. Paul’s in Fayetteville beginning February 1st. In this season of Advent, I am filled with even more anticipation, eager to discover how God will be revealed in our shared ministries, through our faith-filled lives, and in our community. This new endeavor means leaving All Saints’ in Bentonville, where, as their vicar for the past five years, I have learned from and loved our bilingual community. Together, we established a church home in which I know they will continue to grow and thrive. My heart is filled with hope and grief—characteristic of the most holy times in life—and I treasure your prayers for our congregations and my family as we make our way through this time of transition.
