Theology on Tap begins new book, continues online

Theology on Tap starts a new book for our First Tuesday conversation on August 4, from 6-8 p.m.

We are beginning Howard Thurman: Essential Writings, part of the Modern Spiritual Masters Series. Thurman was an African-American philosopher, theologian and civil rights leader whose writings influenced Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.—great reading for these times.

Lowell Grisham will lead discussion of the Introduction and Chapter 1: “Religious Experience: Encountering God.” You do not have to read the material to participate.
