Rosen Movement

Circle2 (1).jpg

Set to music, easy, unhurried movements are designed to improve alignment and lubricate the joints for increased range of motion. As we move to music, our emphasis is on moving with ease and joy. Rosen Movement is a “work in” (not a workout), because it is an invitation to awareness—really connecting with ourselves.

Based on physical therapy, Marion Rosen developed this form of exercise to help prevent physical difficulties by increasing range of motion, relaxing the diaphragm to produce ease of breathing, and deepening awareness of the body.  Rosen Movement may be adapted for those experiencing pain or physical limitations.
