In conjunction with our Tippy McMichael lecture with Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear, the nonfiction book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, by David Grann, is available for purchase in the bookstore.
Killers of the Flower Moon tells the story of the Osage “Reign of Terror” that occurred near Pawhuska, Oklahoma in the 1920s, in which numerous Osage tribe members were killed for their oil wealth.
A book discussion group will meet on Sunday mornings, November 5–26, at 10:00, in the conference room. To sign up to attend, please email Sara Milford.
