About The Rev. Nancy Frausto
The Reverend Nancy Frausto, born in Zacatecas Mexico, immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 7. She is the first and only DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient priest in the Episcopal Church.
A sought-after speaker on issues of evangelism, intersectionality, faith and racial reconciliation, Nancy's call to social justice is a personal one. Growing up undocumented in the United States she understands the importance of honoring one’s roots and making the changes necessary for future generations. She has been featured in the CBS documentary Race, Religion & Resistance and was named one of the Future 50 Interfaith Leaders in Los Angeles to watch by the Interreligious Council of Southern California.
Nancy currently serves as Associate Rector at St. Luke's in Long Beach, California, and as an Evangelism Consultant for the Presiding Bishops office on Evangelism.
