Carol Nave
Assistant Organist and Choirmaster

Leading others to grow in faith through musical participation has been Carol Nave’s professional focus for more than 30 years. As Assistant Organist & Choirmaster, she provides leadership in the St. Paul’s Choir, works with the choristers of the Cherub Choir, TNC and St. Dominic’s Choirs and leads the St. Paul’s Change Bell group. She views spiritual formation to be the heart of music ministry and is passionate about providing musical experiences that foster spiritual growth.

Carol received her degrees in music from Indiana University, The University of Houston and Houston Baptist University. Her main teachers, Marilyn Keiser and Robert Brewer, provided world-class instruction in hymnody, service playing and sacred organ and choral repertoire. Areas of study include organ performance, church music and musicology. She has been a solo recitalist at the Washington National Cathedral and Petrikirche in Freiberg (Saxony) Germany, and toured with the Houston Bach Choir.

Currently Carol serves as the Dean of the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She also volunteers at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and The Momentary. In her spare time she loves to garden, knit, cook and spend time with her husband Matt and Boxer pup, Hank.
