What We Believe

We believe in the power of God’s infinite grace, acceptance, and love. We believe that God’s love is most fully manifest in Jesus Christ, who is the incarnate Son of God—fully God and fully human. We believe that, through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, God has set us free from the power of evil, sin, and death.

We believe that the Holy Spirit guides and empowers us to carry out God’s work in the world. We believe that one day God will bring all things to their perfection as God’s never-ending reign is established on the earth.

We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God. We believe that the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed are sufficient statements of the Christian faith. We believe that Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are central expressions of our worship.
