Friendly Fridge

St. Paul’s Friendly Fridge, a companion to our Little Free Pantry, offers a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to immediate and local need. Located just outside the Welcome Center, this refrigerator can be accessed 24 hours a day and be filled with properly labeled, dated, and sealed items.

Friendly Fridge Guidelines

This fridge belongs to you, and so does what's inside. Take food, leave food. Be safe, be well!

  1. All food must be properly labeled, dated and sealed. Please list what the food item is, make sure it is sealed air-tight, and labeled with the date that it was produced. Listing allergens (dairy, gluten, etc) would be helpful, as well as listing re-heating directions. Food dated past a week in the refrigerator needs to be discarded. If you wouldn't feed it to your family, please don't leave it here.

  2. Since this is from the Community, for the Community, please take a second to clean up if it's messy. Sanitize it when you can. There's a brand-new trash can right across the breezeway, toss any trash so the area is attractive for everyone!

  3. Consider becoming a Friendly Fridge Host! Make a commitment to check on the fridge once a week to clean and organize, answer questions, get the word out, and connect with other community and mutual aid networks.
