The Rev. Lowell Grisham
Rector Emeritus

Lowell was Rector of St. Paul’s from 1997 to his retirement in 2017. During his active ministry he enjoyed promoting each person’s ministry. He has a special interest in prayer, liturgy and spirituality. Lowell is a professed life member of the Order of the Ascension. His booklet Practicing Prayer was published by their Ascension Press.

Through St. Paul’s, Lowell helped launch 7-Hills Homeless Center and Magdalene Serenity House and served their boards for many years. He has a passion for the church’s role in outreach and justice. Lowell wrote a newspaper column for 18 years exploring the intersection of religion and political/social issues.

He and Kathy are nearing their fiftieth anniversary. They have two children and three grandchildren.
