Creation Care Opportunity

Are you interested in joining a Stewardship of Creation group? Do you feel called to help look after God’s glorious world?

In June, a new group started discussing ideas that the Stewardship of Creation group might consider pursuing:

• Educating church members around a topic (e.g., recycling, bee friendly gardens, energy reduction)

• Creating a kitchen policy re: single use plastics

• Exploring ways to reduce our church’s carbon footprint

• Identifying funding sources to help the church purchase solar panels or other energy-saving items

• Raising foodstuff to serve in our kitchen

• Installing a water bottle refilling station in our church and encouraging its use

• Exploring how we might support the 5 R’s beyond recycling.
