Exciting Prison Story Project News

Episcopal Evangelism Society Grant in support of the On The Row film

Kathy McGregor, Iona graduate and founder of the Prison Story Project, a ministry of St. Paul’s, has been awarded a grant from the Episcopal Evangelism Society. This grant will allow Kathy to tour the film On the Row: Stories from Men on Arkansas’ Death Row, to Episcopal churches across the US via Zoom throughout 2021 in support of abolition of the death penalty as we are so called.

To book a showing, reach out to Kathy directly or email info@stpaulsfay.org and we will connect you.

Songs From Arkansas' Death Row

The Prison Story Project has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help the men on Arkansas' death row to turn their storytelling into song. Prison Stories will collaborate with singer-songwriter Danielle Ponder in recording and releasing an EP.

Prison Story Project to participate in Nick Cave’s Until installation

The Prison Story Project has been invited to participate with other regional artists at the Momentary as part of Nick Cave’s Until installation. Until is a response to the question: Is there racism in heaven? Through visual art and mixed media, Nick Cave addresses gender, race, and gun violence in America, and asks viewers to think about where we are today and what the future may look like.

The event is free and advance registration is not required. Performance times:

Saturday, December 5, 2—2:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 9, 2—2:30 p.m.
Saturday, January 2, 2—2:30 p.m.
