Shared Silence

Shared Silence meets daily on Zoom, offering a venue for shared silence and contemplation. We keep silence together for an hour beginning ending with a bell. Silence, contemplation, and meditation benefit spiritual growth and emotional-intellectual balance.

When & Where

People of all faiths or no faith who value silence are welcome. Please mute your microphone when you join the Zoom if prayer has begun.

What is Silence?

"Silence is ecumenical. It precedes dogma. It is incapable of crusades. In silence, people who do not speak the same language may yet act together, creating a tableau that talks louder than words."  1

"Exterior isolation is overcome in interior communion" 2

"...and our communion with all is achieved in reverential silence." 3
